Maternity beach shoot near Cardiff
This maternity beach shoot near Cardiff, is one of my favourite shoots of 2019! I love maternity shoots and so I was super excited to have a client that wanted to meet on the beach at sunset. We're so lucky to have such a beautiful coast line so near to Cardiff.
She looked absolutely beautiful in her baby pink maternity dress, which perfectly matched the sky as the sun set. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect scenario. A walk on the cliff tops was followed by a small panic, (we thought the baby was going to make an early entrance!) but luckily all was well and we managed to get down to the beach just as the sky was washed in the most gorgeous pink hues.
A wonderful set of images for them to cherish and to show their son when he's older.
After each photo session, clients visit my home office to see their images in a slideshow. They also get to see a 9 image collage of images created especially for them. They can choose to order the 9 image collage as a print or in a multi-aperture frame. I really enjoy putting the images together to suggest how they might like to display their images at home. Beach shoot in Saundersfoot
If you follow my work, you'll know that I love the beach. I shoot regularly on my local beaches in the Vale of Glamorgan but there's nothing like discovering a new beach!
I recently spent the weekend in Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, staying at the St Bride's Spa Hotel with one of my oldest friends. The hotel is fantastic and set in the most beautiful surroundings with the most amazing views of the town and the beach.
We enjoyed spending time in the spa and then treated ourselves to an Aperol Spritz on the balcony of our room before heading down for dinner.
The next day was a typical January day - low grey clouds in the sky and a bit damp, but it also felt pretty serene and calm too. I had my camera with me, so we headed down to the beach for a walk and a mini photo shoot.
I've known Sheila for over 20 years, we've travelled around the world together, lived in different cities together and spent countless hours talking non-stop. I've got photos of her from when we were hanging out at university in Leeds, exploring the East Coast of Australia, travelling around South America and spending weekends in the Cotswolds. I've done a couple's shoot, maternity shoot and family shoot with her and now it's time for some shots for her. Just because.

Winter Family Photo Shoot

I had a wonderful Winter family photo shoot with this fabulous family at Dunraven Gardens and beach. The whole family got together for the session and we spent a lovely morning exploring the gardens and running about on the beach. We were lucky with the weather and managed to get lots of family photos done as the gorgeous Winter sun rose in the sky. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with this family and I felt honoured to be able to capture the love between all of them in this Winter family photo shoot. Thank you all for booking me!
