Christmas Mini Photo Session
Another year of gorgeous images in time for Christmas at my Christmas Mini Photo Session a few weeks ago. Here's just a few of the images captured on the day. The outdoor setting is just wonderful, a real log cabin dressed with real Christmas trees with an old wooden sledge and a lovely door wreath. Not to mention the copious amounts of (not real) snow! The snow we use is paper based and from a television production company that provides snow for TV and films. I think it looks amazing and the kids always have so much fun playing with it during the session - especially when it starts to 'snow'! And, it's not cold, so that's a bonus.
I love these magical sessions, they signal the start of Christmas for me and make me want to rush home and start putting up the decorations - I've managed to resist so far, but this weekend I'm going to set to work! I especially love photographing siblings in this setting - there's really nothing cuter than seeing them enjoying the snow together and snuggling up in their Christmas jumpers.
Massive thanks to my helpers Tracey and Craig, without whom I would have been at a loss! They were the ones making it snow and keeping out the pesky sun and/or rain. We really did have every weather on the day!
I know it's a bit early to say it, but I can't help myself. Merry Christmas everyone! Gem xx
