South Wales Toddler Photography with Gemma Griffiths!
I love visiting local toddler groups and seeing all those cheeky little faces! I recently paid a visit to Colwinston Baby & Toddler Group to take some Spring portraits. Take a look at the gorgeous little munchkins below. There's a gorgeous little garden just behind the village hall. It's filled with wild flowers. There's a carpet of forget-me-nots and some massive tractor tyres to play with too.
We played peek-a-boo, found flowers and chased the kids around trees. It's total mayhem but that's the fun of toddler photography!
I'm looking forward to visiting Penllyn Toddler Group and Fun Foundations Nursery in Cowbridge in the next few weeks as well.

South Wales Portrait Photography - School Portraits
I love taking portraits and I've been visiting my children's school for a good few years now to take the annual school portraits. Although I visit lots of local toddler groups and nurseries, this is the only primary school that I visit, which makes it super special to me. This year, I realised that I've been photographing some of the children there since they were in preschool - and now they are in Year 6! I got a little bit emotional when I realised that and probably embarrassed them all, going on about how I remember taking their preschool portraits years ago! Sorry guys!
Now my daughter has actually moved onto secondary school and my son is already in Year 5, it won't be long before I'll be visiting and not taking my own children's portraits. I was lucky this year because my daughter had an inset day so I managed to sneak her into a few with my son at the end of the session.
I take all the portraits outside and it gives them a natural feel. In the past I've struggled with high winds, rain and bright sunshine but this year the weather was on my side. Thanks Mother Nature!

Cowbridge Toddler Group
I love visiting local preschools and toddler groups! Here are a few images from my recent visit to Cowbridge Toddler Group. If you would like me to pop in to your local group, please get in touch. There is NO SESSION FEE and prints start at only £15. Each child gets a mini session with me and then an online gallery of images to choose from.

Documentary school photography
St David's Primary School in Colwinston asked me to create a black & white collage of documentary school photography for display in their reception area.
I know most of the children at the school, as my children also attend there. So, it's always fun to go in and photograph them at work and play.
Here are a few of the images of the children in action. And yes, of course I had to sneak my two into the pictures.
