Perfect for young budding photographers! The Young Photographers Workshop is a fun, interactive and practical course for young people aged between 11-16, who have an interest in photography. They don’t need to have a DSLR, any camera will do, even a phone. The course is designed to cover the creative elements of photography, including lighting and composition. We will also cover some technical aspects too for those that want to find out more about their cameras.  The workshop will take place in Colwinston, near Cowbridge. I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years and would love to share some of my passion for photography  – come and join me!

Age

The course is appropriate for children between 11-16, approximately. This doesn’t mean that a 10 year old cannot attend. It really depends on the individual child. Please get in touch if you’re not sure.

Time

The workshop is due to begin at 10am, so please ensure that your child arrives a few minutes beforehand. We will be back at Windlesham House by 12.30pm for collection.

What to bring

Please get your child to bring along their camera and case. Please also ensure they have warm clothing, coats and wellies etc, as we’ll be walking around the village for most of the session.

Parents/Carers

Parents/Carers are welcome to come along and attend the workshop too.

The workshop will take place at my house in Colwinston and around the village itself.
